Alexander the Great
This has got to be one of the better childrenís biographies ever written. John Gunther tells the story of Alexanderís life with excitement and high-level interest, all the while leading you to think about the growing unrighteousness in his life. He does all this without ever sounding preachy or moralistic. Of course, itís out of print, but this one is worth the effort to find.
Introduce this book following chapter CIII: The Death of Alexander, in The Story of the Greeks.
