History on the Internet

This page is still under construction. In the meantime, you may find the following sites helpful:

Anglo-Saxon Culture
A subpage of the Labyrinth Library, which includes the Electronic Beowulf Project and Living History Links, among others.

Anglo-Saxon England: Online Resources
Part of the Online Reference Book for Medieval Studies, itself part of the ORB Online Encyclopedia. The encyclopedia, especially, has many articles and websites listed of interest, such as the Hanseatic League, and other subjects not normally seen.

Celts & Saxons Homepage
Comprehensive project on the full panorama of Celtic history, culture, and contributions. The proliferation of frames makes it harder to use, but is still a good resource.

Viking Home Page
If it is on the internet and has anything to do with Vikings, then it will be listed either on this page or on the next one, the World of the Vikings.

World of the Vikings
The definitive guide to Viking resources on the internet.
